Privacy notice
Last updated 8 October 2026
This notice explains what happens to the details you give us when you request early access to Troggal Planner at troggal.com: what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it, and your rights. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, ask us.
Who we are
Troggal is run by Troggal Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17436457), whose registered office is 239 Jockey Road, Sutton Coldfield, B73 5US. We are the controller of the personal data described here, which means we decide how it is used and are responsible for it.
Contact us about your data at info@troggal.com.
What we collect
When you request early access, we keep:
- Your name, if you give it.
- Your work email address. This is the only thing we must have, so that we can reply.
- Your company, if you give it.
- The planning software you use today, from the list on the form.
- When you asked, and when you last updated your request.
If you write to us, we keep your email and our reply.
We do not ask for, and do not want, anything else: no payment details, no phone number, nothing about anybody other than you.
What we do with it, and why we are allowed to
- To respond to your request. We send you one email confirming we have it, and later contact you when your place in the beta is ready. The law allows this because you asked us to: it is a step you requested before using our service.
- To let our team know you asked, by an email to our own inbox, so nobody waits unanswered.
- To understand who the beta is for, for example how many people plan in P6 or in Excel, so we build the right things first. We do this because it is in our legitimate interest and has little effect on you; you can object at any time.
We do not sell your details, share them for anyone else's marketing, or add you to a newsletter. If we ever want to send you news beyond the beta, we will ask first.
If someone enters your email address without your knowledge, you will receive one confirmation and nothing more. Tell us and we will delete it.
Who helps us
We use a small number of providers to run troggal.com. They handle your data only to provide their service to us, under contracts that require them to protect it.
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Railway | Hosts troggal.com and the database your request is stored in. | Our servers and database run in Amsterdam (EU). Railway is based in the US, so its staff and systems there may access them: covered by its data processing addendum, which uses the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where Railway is certified. |
| Resend | Sends the confirmation email to you, and our notification to our team. | Sends from its EU (Ireland) region. Resend is based in the US and is certified under the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; its data processing addendum also includes the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. |
| Namecheap | Our email mailbox, where your replies and our team's notifications arrive. | United States (Phoenix, Arizona). Covered by Namecheap's data processing addendum. |
Where a provider is based outside the UK, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, as set out against each provider above. troggal.com does not load anything from other companies' servers: its typeface is served from troggal.com itself.
Technical information
Our own server records each request it answers (the time, the page and whether it worked) to keep the service running. It does not record your IP address. To stop abuse of the form, it remembers recent requests from each address for one minute, in memory only, and never writes them down. Our hosting provider keeps its own technical logs, which can include IP addresses, for a short time.
Cookies: troggal.com does not set any cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your request until your place in the beta is ready and you have had the chance to take it up. If you do not, we delete it 12 months after the beta ends. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop or limit what we do with it, or object to our using it;
- give it to you in a form you can take elsewhere.
Email info@troggal.com. We will reply within one month, and it costs you nothing.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
Keeping it safe
Everything you send us travels encrypted (HTTPS). The list of requests can be seen only by the owner's signed-in account, and is not reachable from the public site.
When you have a Troggal account
This notice covers early-access requests. When you create an account and put your programmes into Troggal, a fuller notice and our terms will cover that, and we will show them to you before you start.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects you materially, we will email you before it takes effect.
